‘Final Check’ 60 x 40” Prior to any departure
the cowboy will check his animals to ensure all
is roped down and the carriage secure. Inspired by
scenes from the Copper Mountain WestFest in 1999 the
artist recreated similar scenes from which to paint
this and similar events. The oblique angle provides
a unique and interesting approach to a common subject.
