‘What About Us’ 60 x 40” Painted in 1990 for his
‘Images of Australia’ book this is very symbolic
of the artists work as he advanced into the romantic
theme. The girl to the left was dressed to provide a
strong point of impact and is positioned at the key
one third location to offset her friend in yellow more
forward. The ducks complete the storyline and give
presence to the lively water occupying the lower half
of the painting.
