The oil paintings in this beach
themed art
gallery were all painted on
canvas by the
Australian Impressionist artist
Robert Hagan. These paintings
reflect beach scenes and images
from Hagan's imagination and
memory of life growing up in
Australia. The subjects of many
of the paintings show life as a
young adult and the associated
activities include life at the
beach, campfires and fishing.
The impressionism style of these
paintings have the romantic feel
of a time not so long ago when
life was more relaxed and care
free.
