Paintings In The Adventure Gallery
We were all adventure
chasers at one time. I
was a ’bush boy’, so I
have a rich collection
of memories to delve
into for inspiration and
direction. Whether we’ve
done it or not, it
shouldn’t stop us from
painting it… hey, it’s
way of experiencing it!

The oil paintings in this
adventure themed art
gallery were all painted on
canvas by the
Australian Impressionist artist
Robert Hagan. The paintings
reflect scenes and images from
Hagan's life growing up in the
bush and small towns of outback
Australia. The subjects of many
of the paintings show life as a
young boy and his activities
which include going to the
beach, playing cricket, fishing,
canoeing, building rafts and
racing billy carts. The very
Australian painting of the
shearers shearing sheep is one
of my favorite paintings.
